May I apply pure Vitamin E oil to my nose 2 weeks post-op septorhinoplasty?

Hi everyone, I was wondering if it would be okay to apply pure vitamin e oil to my nose 2 weeks post-op septorhinoplasty? I used it as a moisturizer for years before I had my surgery and would like to use it again as soon as possible. Thanks in advance!

It's always important to follow your surgeons recommendations on specific product use. However, in general, as long as it's not being placed on the incision, it should be safe to place vitamin E oil on your nasal skin without any problem. Best wishes.

Dear Happy Toast, Speak with your surgeons office and follow any instructions that they provide for you. Your surgeon will know best the techniques which were used like open vs. closed. Applying pure Vitamin E shouldn’t cause you any issues 2 weeks after your Rhinoplasty.
