Apo mometasone (nasonex) 5 days post septoplasty?

I accidentally grabbed the wrong bottle and uses nasonex to clean my nose. I'm 5 days post septoplasty. As soon as I realized it I followed up with a saline spray. Will this affect my recovery? I'm very worried I overdosed.

The skin flap needs to be sutured back or it might heal in an abnormal position. Some surgeons might opt to leave it alone as wound contracture will eventually close the gap but I would recommend resuturing it as it is a critical area. RegardsDr. Janjua

This sound like a normal release of a combination of the gel used by surgeons to prevent bleeding after surgery combined with mucous and blood being absorbed by the gel.  That's the gel doing its job and finally releasing itself when the job is done.  You might expect more.  Much of it typic...
