Will laying on my back shape my butt flat? (Photo)

If you had fat transfer to your buttocks (Brazilian butt lift), then I would suggest you definitely do not lie on your back. However, if you just had liposuction on your thighs and back, then lying on your back should not negatively affect your butt contour.

Laying on your back while you heal from surgery should not permanently change the shape of your butt. You can use pillows for support as is comfortable. I encourage you to closely follow your surgeon's post op instructions for best results.

There is no problem with positioning yourself after a mommy makeover provided is comfortable. Pressure on the buttock area will not flatten it.

Not to worry, once your post-op swelling goes down, your buttock shape should be unaffected by laying in bed during your short recovery period
