Is it better to stage your mommy makeover in steps or do it all at once?

Undergoing a combination procedure is a bit of a compromise between getting it done all at once with more discomfort and a harder recovery versus two separate procedures. In some instances, complications can be higher in a combined procedure depending on one's general health and the length of the proposed surgery. Although we perform combination surgeries frequently, it is always easier to recover from a single surgery then two.

Combining procedures is common and considered safe as long as you stay within limits. The procedures you are considering are frequently done together and generally wouldn't necessitate staging. Many prefer one trip to the OR as that also means one recovery. I encourage you to speak with your surgeon about your concerns.

It is very common to combine the procedures that interest you (breast lift and tummy tuck with liposuction) and assuming you are in good health, it should not be an issue. Hello, Thank you for your question. Should you be a good candidate, many patients have these surgeries performed at the same time. This often decreases the cost and recovery time. Having them performed separately shouldn't affect your final results. I'd recommend speaking to your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to determine what your best options would be. Take care.
