How do I fix the damage from Clear lift laser? (Photo)

Question

I had 8 sessions of clear lift laser since October. Today I took some after photos & cried. I look 20 years older! I sent the photos to my DR who agrees but I have not been in to see yet for assement, just a SORRY. How can I fix this? I will not do any more fillers as they are a bandaid. This was to plump and get rid of wrinkles not cause them. I am devastated. Even my neck looks OLD(whole face and neck done!) Is my only option a mini lift? Spent a fortune for this, am I due a refund?

it appears the laser treatment cost fat atrophy in your face.  This can happen especially with deeper penetrating equipment. Your results are not typical. It is difficult to ascertain who will have this response but some will.  Based on your skin complexion I would guess you would've been a good A good candidate for this treatment. Apparently that is not the case.  Your physician provided the treatment you agreed upon. He or she may be willing to refund some of the money but I don't believe they are obligated to. Cheap and options to correct this are the use of fillers, fat grafting or a facelift. Because the change came from a lack of volume ( presumably fat atrophy)restoring volume may be the best option. I'm sure this is highly frustrating. I suggest having a honest discussion with your provider to see what he or she has to say. Best, Mats Hagstrom M.D.
