Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
A combination approach would give the most improvement. I recommend lasers, microneedling/prp, Sculptra and radiofrequency treatments. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
Thanks for you question. It would have helped if you could have posted a picture to give an ideal of the severity of your crepey skin. After a complete consultation in medical setting, you would probably benefit from several treatment options. If you are working towards a deadline, we would probably recommend a series of 1540 nm resurfacing treatments on your arms. You would experience redness and minor swelling for 1-3 days and be sun sensitive, but the results would be apparent quickly. Normally, we recommend a series of 3-4 treatments about 4 weeks apart. Best of luck.
Crepey skin can be due to several different factors. One reason could be lack of hydration to your skin. You can use AmLactin, an over-the-counter topical cream that has alphahydroxy acid. Or a product with hyaluronic acid, such as Hydro Boost by Neutrogena. Various laser treatment such as the Fraxel or a simple IPL treatment can help stimulate your collagen. For an advanced approach, the ThermiSmooth or any other RF device can be considered. Make sure that you are covering your skin and keeping it out of the sun as UV rays can chew up your collagen over time.
Hello and Thank You for your question. I would agree with other's answering your question. Laser and Micro-Needling would certainly help. I would recommend looking into Venus Viva treatments. Its a quick, no downtime procedure that can certainly help you. Maybe someone in your area, offers the treatment. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your question, crepey skin on arms is a common problem, especially as we get older and if there is associated sun damage. We have various skin tightening machine such as Thermage, UltraCel, Exilis combined with sonic shock wave, INTRAcel and Fraxel, sometimes some hyaluronic skin booster injections can also help. This improvement often requires patience with a few treatments over 3 - 6 months. Sometimes if there is also some underlying Fat, coolsculpting can also help.
