Is a lift/augmentation at the same time dangerous, or safer with small implant size? (Photo)

The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

I recommend an in person consultation with a plastic surgeon to discuss your goals and be measured. Hi, thank you for sharing your question. While you are right that staging a breast augmentation and a breast lift is safer, these procedures can still be done safely at the same time. The specific plan for you and the risks should be discussed with your plastic surgeon.

You may be okay with no implant at all. The operation with an implant is more tricky and needs to be done by someone who really has a lot of experience

It is best however that you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to determine whether you can have several aesthetic surgeries in one session, as this would depend on various factors including but not limited to your general health condition, the type of anesthesia that will be used, and the type of surgeries that will be performed among others.

If you have a fair amount of breast tissue, then a lift with the augmentation is safe. If you have little breast tissue, then the two would need to be done separately. Usually, the lift is done first and the implant added later once healed. The lift does decrease the blood flow to the nipple when the incision is made around the areola. Smaller implants are always safer and less stress on your tissue and less likely to sag.

The techniques of breast lifting is different when it is done alone or done with a breast implant. So The circulation of the nipple is altered and breast implant occupies a volume. Sometimes it is a better idea doing these two at different times. So the circulation is kept better and the size and shape can be better managed separately.
So what I would suggest is to have the breast lift without any volume reduction at the first phase and after a year decide the size and shape of the implant and have the augmentation.

We usually combine breast augmentation and lift together as one procedure unless a large implant has been selected or if there are other comorbidities which increase surgical risk.
I would delay augmentation / lift of the breasts for 3-6 months after breastfeeding to allow for breast involution to occur. The vascularity of the breasts will decrease as well, reducing the intraoperative and postoperative bleeding risk.
