Is it possible to physically shorten the nose? (Photos)

Thank you for your question.  The answer to this is a definite yes.  There are many techniques that we have to shorten the nose besides the removal of the caudal septum and tip rotation.  Additionally, I often divide the lateral alar cartilages and sutured them pants over vest to shorten the entire nose.tthe use this technique in addition to the above techniques, the overall nose will definitely be shortened.  Best wishes to you.

The answer is yes. There are two several way to shorten e nose. You can reduce the length of the septum, or increase the tip rotation. Both are powerful techniques to shorten the nose. Reducing the height of the radix also give the impression of reducing the length of the nose. If the chin is underprojected, performing a chin implant may also give the appearance of the smaller nose. I hope this helps.

Hello and thank you for your question.  It is possible to shorten the nose.   Based on your
photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty.  You may also benefit from a cephalic rotation
of your tip to turn up your tip slightly and a dorsal hump
reduction.  This can be designed to shorten your nose.   Make sure you specifically look at
before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed
by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system.
The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I
