Do I have an "upturned" or "celestial" type of nose, and if I were to try to change that, what are my options? (Photo)

Hi Zulu13, thanks for your question and photos.  You have a nice nose with good proportions overall.  Your tip rotation seems to be within normal range and not excessively "upturned."  While changes can be made to any nose, I think it's important for you to have a solid idea of what changes you are looking for before undertaking any rhinoplasty alterations.  The answer ultimately lies within you in terms of what, if any, changes are required.  The tip of your nose may be refined slightly and the nostrils perhaps reduced a bit, but overall, I do not advise significant changes, such as lengthening or de-rotating the tip, to your otherwise nice nose.  Hope this helps!

A closed rhinoplasty approach can accomplish turning the nasal tip down, reduction of the hanging columella, and narrowing the bridge line with all of the incisions placed on the inside of the nose. This is known is closed rhinoplasty. For many examples, please see the link and the video below
