A true brow lift will last forever, but that does not mean you will not continue aging after having your brow lift. Tissues stretch, loose elasticity and will continue those changes after your procedure. You will always be ahead of where you would have been had you not had the brow lift. There are many different types of brow lifts to choose from, and what is right for you will depend on your individual needs, goals and anatomy. To ensure you are receiving the highest level of care, seek out a modernly trained, new-school dermatologic surgeon, oculoplastic surgeon, facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon who is board certified and fellowship trained in one of these "core four" cosmetic specialties. Membership in organizations like the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery help to identify a highly trained surgeon.Cameron Chesnut#realself500 Physician
Hello hollie cThey are usually permanent, I would advice schedule a consultation with aboard certified plastic surgeon.
It honestly depends on the type of lift you undergo, the degree of correction and several other factors related to genetics. On average, brow lifts last around 10 years depending on the factors previously mentioned. A proper brow lift will help alleviate signs of aging and produce a more youthful appearance. I recommend meeting with a board-certified plastic facial surgeon to discuss the treatment option best suited for your facial structure.
Thank you for your question. The effects of the brow lift are permanent. Your board certified facial plastic surgeon ad team should treat your operation as an individual procedure keeping your needs in mind.Best wishes,
How long does a browlift last? if properly done a brow lift lasts forever. Your brow position will always be better that if it had not been done. If your hairline is very low an endoscopic type of brow lift is indicated. If it is high it is best done with an Irregular Trichophytic Forehead Lift. With this technique your hairline can be kept where it is or lowered. The scar will not be seen if done by an experienced surgeon with this technique since hair will grow thru the scar.
This would depend on your anatomy and surgical technique used during surgery. In general, most people who undergo a brow lift do it once in their lifetime.
A brow lift is performed for a variety of reasons which include low set eyebrows, asymmetrical eyebrows, vertical and horizontal wrinkles of the forehead which are caused from muscle activity, and to raise or lower the hairline as well. A properly performed brow lift procedure should last a lifetime and is rarely ever need to be repeated. A full set of photographs are required to make any determination about being a candidate for a brow lift surgical procedure
There are two ways that I counsel my patients in terms of the duration of a procedure: One answer is that the results will last forever. Meaning that if you came in with your twin and you had the procedure, but your twin did not, your brows would alway appear more youthful than your twin's The second answer is that the type a brow lift performed, the aggressiveness of the brow lift, and the severity of your brow ptosis will all determine how much more youthful your forehead and brows will appear. The purpose of any of these procedures is to make you look refreshed and youthful for your stated age.
The duration of improvement after a brow will depend on the experience of your surgeon and the technique that is used. I've found that the Irregular Trichophytic Hairline Incision technique will last forever. You will always look better than if you never had the procedure although normal aging will occur. With this approach the hairline position can be maintained or lowered if necessary.
Thank you for your question. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to learn more about the options available to you. The goal of facial plastic surgery is to create a youthful, attractive and natural looking appearance. Best wishes,
As we age, our eyelids naturally sag and droop. A combination approach would be best to see visible improvement. In terms of non-surgical treatment options, I would recommend a Chemical Brow Lift (using Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau) and filler injections to rejuvenate the temples, eyebrow,...
Thank you for your question. The endoscopic brow lift is the preferred method, when possible, because the incisions are so small in the hairline providing scars that will not be visible and because of a shorter recovery time that is less invasive. I suggest that you move forward and consult w...
