I have underboob, I’d like lipo in that area. I’m small. (Photos)

Based on your picture you are a good candidate for liposuction of the area you mentioned with bodytite to tighten the area, always see a board certified PS.

I’m sorry that you didn’t the get full improvements you were expecting from your treatments. The excess fat underneath your breasts can be removed by an expert using either liposuction, CoolSculpting or radiofrequency energy, such as Thermi. Cost varies by practice and location. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist who is an expert at contouring that area, because it takes some finesse.

Liposuctioning the upper abdomen under the breast tissue does well and is easy to undergo under tumescent local with the microcanulas. Cost is roughly $4500 and so worth it.

Hello and thank you for posting photos along with your question! From your photos it appears that some lipo can be done to that area....However, you have to understand that only so much lipo in that area can be done because there are ribs directly under that area. Sometimes, people have prominent ribs and lipo can make them appear to stand out less but you cant really do anything about the ribs themselves. I lipo ALL my tummy tuck patients in this area but you have to make sure the surgeon you choose for this has done this frequently enough to understand how to lipo over the ribs safely! It appears that you have excess fat beneath both breasts.  I would recommend liposuction of the upper abdomen with a combination of J-Plasma laser to tighten the skin.  I suggest seeing an experienced plastic surgeon for an in-person consultation. Thank you for your pictures and questions. You need an exam to differentiate whether that area is due to fat and soft tissue or due to your bony anatomy. If surgeons tell you they can fix that with liposuction and it is due to your bony anatomy, you are going to get a result you are not happy with, I guarantee it. If it is indeed due to adipose tissue and you have good skin quality, then you might be able to obtain a good result with liposuction. And you do not need to travel, there are plenty of qualified and board certified plastic surgeons in your area that can help you.Good luck!

This is a common area where women accumulate fat. It is usually taken care of when a patient undergoes abdominal liposuction. This is such a common frustration for women with full, heavy breasts!  The weight of the breasts (and underwire bras) compress the tissue in the midriff creating that annoying bump.  Liposuction to that area will reduce the volume and help to smooth it out!Good luck!In good health,Ellen Mahony, MD
