I had water jet assisted lipo done on the upper thighs. I am not happy at all with the results. Both the thighs have lumpiness and ripples and dents. And there is a painful bump on my right thigh. Which may be scar tissue. Not sure. Please let me know if there is any solution to the way my results turned out and if there is anything that can be done . To make them at least half way smooth so that I’m not embarrassed to wear a swim suit. Thank you
Answer: Post lipo rippling Thank you for your question. It is very hard and somewhat impossible to properly comment on your results without seeing your before photo. The reason is that you may have had a bit of excess skin and therefore now have some rippling. This may be improved with non-invasive tightening with the forma or surgical revision using the body tite.Either way I would see your surgeon and discuss the irregularities.

Answer: Liposuction Irregularities--VASER HI DEF 4D Liposculpture Revision, ThermiRF, Fat grafting, cellutone, zwave, vanquish I recommend Vanquish to all my post-liposuction patients, which you can have now. After liposuction, I also recommend exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. We start treatments 3-4 weeks after liposuction. However, a VASER revision may be needed to get the smoothest result. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Uneven after liposuction Dear mrsbunny,I would have to examine you but it appears that this is a contour irregularity after liposuction. This happens often when areas the undergo liposuction are not feathered appropriately. The good news is that it can be fixed and I have done so with good results before. The revision can often be done under local as well. While there is always a chance for contour irregularities with liposuction, someone who takes their time and uses the appropriate sized cannulas should give you a superb result.I have all my patients wear compression garments and I use multiple sized cannulas to feather out the result.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Thigh Lift Unfortunately, thigh liposuction can be very difficult to predict results. Although from 2 pictures it can be hard to know exactly what procedure would be best, and it is always recommended to consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, you may need to consider a Thigh Lift in order to get the results you are looking to achieve. By lifting the thigh and removing excess skin, you can reduce the "creping skin" of the upper medial thighs. Do some research on the Thigh Lift procedure, as it may be the best way to improve the overall lumpiness of the thighs. Best of luck!

Answer: What can be done about lumps and dents after #liposuction of my thighs? I am not a big fan of liposuction to the front of the thighs as it can be very difficult to 3-dimensionally reduce the thigh girth and improve contour without sustaining risks of contour irregularities or over/underdone appearance. In your case, there may be a value to skin tightening through a formal surgical thigh lift. Additional technologies to consider might include treatments normally given for nonsurgical cellulite improvement like Cellulaze, VelaShape (RF treatment), etc. VaserSmooth is another approach that might be able to break up loculations in the fat but I would caution you not to expect drastic improvement with nonsurgical approaches or surgical techniques that don't deal with stretching the skin to improve the texture.
