I am 24 days post op. I got 365cc Silicone Unders. I started off as a 34aa, no assymtry. My right has filled out and dropped more than the left one. And the left ones nipple is about a half inch lower than the right. It's quite noticible to me. Will this even out if/when the left one drops more?
Answer: Breast Augmentation Hi and thank you for your question.. It is not uncommon for breasts to drop at different rates. It can take up to 6 months for the breasts to drop and settle into position. Continue to follow your post op instructions and contact your surgeon with any concerns. Best wishes.

Answer: Breast implant asymmetry Hello and thank you for your question and photos. It is very common to have one implant drop earlier then the other. It is best to judge implant symmetry at around 6 months. I know it's a long time to wait but that is how long it takes sometimes for the implants to settle into the right position. At 24 days, I don't think you should worry about the asymmetry. Best of luck with your recovery.

Answer: Is it normal for one breast to drop before the other? Will they even out? Thank you for your question and photographs. After placement of implants, the overall appearance of the breasts will change dramatically over the next several months, as the implants drop, and the overlying tissue stretches to accommodate the extra volume. At 24 days your implants appear to be settling, with your right having dropped a bit sooner than your left. This is very common. I would anticipate your left breast implant to follow suit within the next several weeks. I know waiting is difficult, but judge your results at 4-6 months after surgery as most of your breast changes should have occurred by then. Hope this helps.

Answer: Breast Augmentation - Post Op Swelling? Thank you for your question. You are still early in the post-operative period. It typically takes 3 - 6 months for the swelling to subside and and implants to settle into proper position. Please discuss your concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon. Also, make sure you follow all of your plastic surgeons post-operative instructions regarding level of physical activity and use of a support bra. Hope this helps and good luck with your recovery.
