I had my peltes inserted in early April and plan on having a tummy tuck on July 6th. Will this be safe? I know being on hormone replacement therapy can be dangerous, but I suffer from premature ovarian failure, so I need it. My doctor said I should be ok, but I would like other opinions.

Thanks for the question. Generally, most patients can fly within 2 to 4 weeks after Tummy Tuck surgery. However, car or airplane travel should be avoided to prevent the risk of blood clots in the legs. I wish you all the best.
