Will a chin implant with liposuction now or neck lift in 3 years? (photos)

Question

I have a recessed chin/jaw and have had a double chin my entire life. I am 41 years old and would like to have a neck lift but I have a 2 year old son and can’t afford to take the proper time off for recovery. I can however, have Chin lipo and an implant put in. Would doing this be pointless because what I really need is a neck lift and chin implant?

Hello! hank you for your questionl recommend you chin liposuction along with chin liposuction, your face can place a suitable chin implant, but your priority should definitely be chin liposuction

You are a good candidate for a genioplasty. This is a permanent procedure that allows us to pretty much put your chin in whatever position you like. By bringing it slightly forward and down, it would create more definition to your jawline and add balance to your profile. This would also help to tighten the skin under your chin. Along with that, additional submental liposuction can be done at the same time, to create a tighter appearance under the chin area. Jawline liposculpting is also an option to create more jawline definition, although I do think you would greatly benefit from a genioplasty over an implant.

The double chin is caused by your extremely recessed chin. I do not believe you need a necklift at this time. I recommend a sliding genioplasty to advance your chin 7-8 mm. A chin implant of the same size tends to make the chin wider and more masculine. A genioplasty will give you a well balanced feminine appearance. Some jawline and submental liposuction can be performed simultaneously.

The photographs demonstrate a recessive chin profile for which a Chin implant can certainly improve the projection of your chin and give better structural support for the soft tissues in your neck. You also have significant fat deposits in the neck located both above and below the platysma muscle. Liposuction will be only minimally effective because it can only remove the fat deposits above the muscle. Most of your fat appears to be below the platysma muscle which require surgical excision and extraction. A platysma-plasty is also performed to significantly improve the jawline. No skin removal is required
