Avoiding bruising with the use of canulas is the most important thing in general. When using needles there is at least a 5% risk of significant bruising in the under eye area. Once there bruising can take 2-3 weeks to resolve. Lasers can be helpful and, if used right away, heparinoid cream can help as well.

Once the bruise occurs, it can take up to 14 days or longer to resolve. Hang in there, the bruise will resolve.

I always tell patients that bruising around the eyes is fairly common after fillers. If it does not bruise a bit then you are lucky.
Bruising can occur after filler and Botox administration. Arnica Montana creams can actually make your bruising even worse. Using moist, warm compresses will help resolve the bruise. Make sure you do that 4 to 6 times daily. Do not be afraid, the bruising will go away, just may take some time. Good luck from New York City

With any injection bruising is a possibility. Bruising typically lasts 1-2 weeks and resolves on its own. Some find that arnica helps it resolve faster.
