The answer to your question,  it depends. Someone who is looking to either dramatically augment their nose or reduce their nose can potentially have a dramatic change. Meaning an individual who has either a extremely large dorsum or an individual who has a extremely saddled bridge a rhinoplasty.  Although these changes can be significant the goal for any rhinoplasty surgery is to achieve harmony with the other facial structures and a natural result.

I would not focus on being a 7, 8, 9, or 10 on an attractiveness scale. That is extremely subjective and not worth your time, as you will never be happy with the outcome. Rhinoplasty is my favorite operation because it can have such a profound impact on a person's self esteem and confidence, and is a very artistic operation. It is the pinnacle of plastic surgery. A great rhinoplasty leaves you with the nose that fits your face and you feel like you were meant to have all along. it doesn't leave you with a weird looking nose or something unnatural. it does not physically affect the size of your lips, cheeks, or anything else, though if you feel that your nose is something that draws unusual attention, getting a rhinoplasty and creating a nose that fits your face and doesn't draw attention to it may relatively speaking bring out your eyes or other features of your face that others weren't noticing before if they were focusing on your nose. But again, try to remember that everyone is different and that is what makes facial features so fascinating. A rhinoplasty should make your version of you feel great and look great, but you're not going to necessarily look like someone else, nor should you try to.

Generally speaking
rhinoplasty will refine your nose so it is more in balance with the other
characteristics of your face. For example in you have a large bump or bulbous
tip, after rhinoplasty your nose will be in more balance with the rest of your
face and it will bring out the other characteristics of your face, e.g. your
eyes. Your surgeon should be primarily concerned with achieving your expectations,
and I personally conform patient’s surgery to give you the most natural results
that are in line with your other facial features.

A nose job tends to give better facial balance, so when a rhinoplasty is performed correctly, the results looks quite natural.  A natural-looking nose blends as a part of the facial features, rather than a prominent feature on the patient’s face.  The balance makes any self-conscious awareness of a deformity diminish and self-confidence improves.  Degree of change to establish this balance varies with each patient.

What you need to understand is that each and every patient is special in what their needs are and what the possibilities are. The most important thing in this process that you need to make sure you do is to find a board certified surgeon who specializes in Rhinoplasty surgery and have a discussion about your goals. None of us can tell you how it will change your overall beauty. See as many surgeons as it takes until you find the one who makes you feel confident in them and that has shown you great results. The key to all of this is that you and your future surgeon be on the exact same page with what you are trying to do. You should also know that at times certain patients who I see for Rhinoplasty surgery also need to have their chin altered and that can really change the way you look for the better. So make sure your surgeon assesses the position of your chin as well to make sure it sits in an aesthetic position to complement your face and your future new nose.
