You're a beautiful young lady, and if you're overall happy with the appearance of your nose, please do not do rhinoplasty for your singular concern. Everyone's nose gets wider with smiling, and yours doesn't look unusually wide, in my opinion. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph
Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photo. I recommend you rhinoplasty surgery. If you can provide photos with better lighting, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best regards!
Thank you for your question and photo. While it is normal for the nose to widen when smiling, rhinoplasty can reduce this effect by changing the nasal structure. During this procedure, the tip can be refined and the nostrils narrowed to create a result that complements the rest of your facial features. Keep in mind that rhinoplasty is one of the most complex of all plastic surgery procedures, requiring experience, skill, and even artistry to achieve an optimal outcome. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon, with expertise in rhinoplasty techniques. They will be able to discuss your concerns and aesthetic goals with you and help you decide on the best course of action.
You have a beautiful smile. I don’t think you really need anything. However a simple alarplasty would narrow your nostril base a bit in a way that might correct what bothers you. It’s simple and can be done under local anesthesia
Alarplasty is the best solutionAlarplasty is a very fine and quick procedure that can narrow the nostrils and reduce the flare to soften the appearance. It has other names as well like ‘Weir Excisions’ or ‘Nostril Reduction’. However, it is important to note that asymmetry of nostrils is common and cannot be corrected with alarplasty. Visit the alarplasty website to learn all about it.Click on the video link below to see the details.RegardsDr. J
Nose widens with smile: when we smile the movement of the muscles of the cheeks pulls the nostrils wider apart so the base of the nose appears wide. This happens with all of us. If someone has white-based nostrils to begin with, then they may get excessively wide when smiling. You do not show a basal view of your nose, meaning a picture from underneath the nostrils looking up at the nose, Which would help determine whether your nostrils are white based. But if they are, a nostril tuck , also called an alar plasty, is a simple procedure which can be done in the office under local anesthesia.
Thank you Elena for your question and photographs. Photographic evaluation is incomplete without personal examination to give a most appropriate answer However from the photographs, it seems that, you will benefit from an alar reduction and droopy tip correction if the tip muscle is hyperactive. It can be done under local anesthesia as a daycare surgery. Please consult a board-certified plastic surgeon near you and discuss this in detail.Wish you an alluring look.
An alar plasty can accomplish narrowing wide nostrils statically. To reduce the dynamic flare requires releasing the ligaments that are attached under the alar wings. This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure
Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand from your question you might have stenosis inside your nose. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!
Hello! Thank you for your question Your nose tip is very over projected and also the bump might due to the previous surgery it would better to be face to face consultation. For get rid of this things and gain more elegant, natural looking nose I recommend you revision Rhinoplasty surgery.Best...
Generally, if one has a tip graft to increase projection and they don’t like it, then it’s possible to revise the surgery and trimming of the tip graft or placing a small graft could help modify tip projection.
