Will hypopigmentation spot on nose after open rhinoplasty go away on its own? (Photos)

Hello! I’m five months post op from an open rhinoplasty I had done in Istanbul. While I love my new nose, as the swelling was going down I noticed a spot of hypopigmentation and bumps along my bridge about two months ago. I consulted with my surgeon and asked him if the hypopigmentation was caused by the kenalog injection I received. He said no because they don’t inject in that region, but I believe that did. I was advised to visit dermatology in two months. Will this go away on its own??

The pigment will likely return on its own but it can be very gradual. If it doesn’t return after two years the pigment could be tattooed in but you need a tattoo artist who is really good with color

Your nose tip is very over projected and also the bump might due to the previous surgery it would better to be face to face consultation.For get rid of this things and gain more elegant, natural looking nose I recommend you revision Rhinoplasty surgery.Best regards!

Hi and welcome to our forum!
It appears that you developed the area of hypopigmentation after an injection of  kenalog into your nose. That would be an unusual site for a kenalog injection as it is usually used to treat areas of increased inflammation and swelling involving the nasal tip. If it is due to the injection, it is a permanent phenomenon. 
There are other possibilities. You may wish to visit a dermatologist for evaluation.
