Failed otoplasty? Should I consider a revision with the same surgeon? (Photos)

I see an improvement in both ears since surgery. Having said that, there does appear to be room for an additional setback. The antihelical folds are much more prominent now, but you appear to still have some conchal bowl excess which would likely be the proposed target of further setback.

I would say that your ears in the photographs appear natural. The degree that ears are pinned back is something you need to discuss with your surgeon before surgery. If they are not pinned back to the extent that you discussed with your surgeon then it would be reasonable to discuss this with them. Under pinned is easier to correct than over pinned back!I advice to have a discussion with the surgoen who carried out he surgery. Or consider a second opinion from a suitably qualified and experienced surgeon who regularly carries out otoplasties.

hello there! it seems that there is some improvement from the before and after photos but you would have liked them more pinned back. I usually tell my patients to wait about 3-6 months before any revisions, to let the swelling go down and appreciate better the final result. I also would continue to wear the earband x6-8 weeks at night. I hope this help you!
