Had implants removed 1 week ago after only having them for 11 weeks, and I'm devastated! Will my shape improve?

I know it's hard to be patient, but you are much too early in your recovery to judge your results. Because you had conservatively sized implants in for a short time you should have good skin retraction. If after several months you are still unhappy you can visit with your surgeon to explore options. Until then continue to closely follow your surgeon's post op instructions for the best results.

Thank you for your question. It would be difficult to give an absolute answer of how they will turn out.  You are very early in the post operative course. Your implants have not been in long, so that is in your favor.  It will take several months to see the final result. The answers to your questions depend on a variety of factors.  How large are your implants?  What is your skin like?  Do you have ptosis?  How long have the implants been in?  This will help determine if you need a lift or not. There are options for the different types of incision lines as well.  Downsizing , in your case placing a smaller implant than previous might be an option.  Please tell your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon your concerns.  Together you will find a solution.Jeffrey J. The shape should improve since you only had your implants for 11 weeks.  It will take 6 months at least.
