Can you flatten areolas with surgery to fix puffy nipples (not reduce size)?

Hello, thank you for your question. Sometimes the puffiness can be breast tissue, sometime this can be fat.  The breast tissue will be difficult to sculpt with just lipo and may require an excision.  An examination by a board certified plastic surgeon would be the way to get the best advice.

Thank you for your question.  It is possible to address puffy nipples without reducing the size of the areola, but you would need an in-person exam to know for sure.  It may be that your breasts are a bit constricted (tuberous), and that would need to be addressed to correct the puffy areolas.  This could be an office procedure, or it might require going to a surgery center--it all depends on the overall breast shape.
