What can be done to correct indent under cheek after facelift? It looks hollow. (Photo)

One side of my face appears much tighter and there is an indent under my cheek. Also that side (left) is a bit larger. Im thinking I might need a revision in a few months but in the meantime is there something I can do to soften my appearance. Procedure did involve lipo, 4 months ago. Not really sure what is going on with that side.

Contour problems, small up's and down's may occur after a face lift and are usually temporary. Since you are 4 months post-op,  the indented area may be conservatively  treated with a inject-able filler. Speak to your surgeon about this issue because he/she has seen this before.

Thank you for your question.  It is difficult to evaluate the degree of hollowing from the photos, but the most likely solution will involve either temporary fillers such as Radiesse or Voluma, or permanent autologous fat transfer.  See your surgeon who can evaluate you in person and give you a informed recommendation.

A contour abnormality shown in the picture is not expected after a facelift. Was your buccal fat pad excised? The quickest solution is probably placement of filler.

It looks like you have a loss of fat here which could be from the liposuction.  At about 6 months post-op you can think about having either some filler or fat put into the area to try and give it some volume.

Unfortunately, the photographs you show are not the best for proper evaluation however, if that is the only issue that you have I agree that either fillers or my preference for a more permanent solution is  is fat grafting. Sometimes for defects such as that second session may be indicated.

If it has been 4 months since the operation and you still have the indentation on your cheeks, it is not likely to recover any better.  My guess is that there was an overly aggressive cheek liposuction and it probably needs to be injected with fat grafted from your own body.

It is  certainly it is too early at this time to do a revision surgery. The indentation may will go away with time. Temporarily A filler or fat can easily be injected and this may at this may  temporarily solve the problem.I would also suggest to speak to your Plastic Surgeon about your concerns as well.Good Luck.
