This is addition to my last ? The pulsating pain in temples is alway bad & tight, can be really unbearable at times. Def having nerve pain in temples & scalp, sometimes cheeks but hoping that is part of a very long slow healing?? Cheeks are also tight & Sometimes feel worse than others. Feels like multiple issues & can't imagine living w/ temples this way forever. multiple issues. I don't really want pain meds as the answer, want to resolve the problem. Hoping you can help

Answer: Significant pain four weeks after a facelift is most unexpected.
Itching around the incision linesone-year post facelift surgery is unusual. Hypertrophic scaring or keloid formationusually causes discomfort and itching sensation. I recommend you visiting yoursurgeon for an advice. Topical or injectable steroids can subside the symptoms.
Even though a facelift will disassemble the nasolabial fold they are generated by facial expression. Direct surgical excision, although an uncommon procedure, can you excellent results in the properly selected patient.
Personally I don't think your earlobes look too much different but if there is something specifically to be altered this is easily done on the office with a bit of local anesthesia. I would however wait until healing is complete.
