My 450cc gel implants look small. Any suggestions? (photos)

I was an A and got 450cc gel implants. They look wider but not near as big as I thought. My doc initially suggested 360 but I wanted larger. When they drop will they fill out more? I had them done less than 10 hours ago. Their odd shaped and not large. I'm not happy so far.

Thank you for your question and photograph, and it appears that you will have a very nice result. In your case the swelling from surgery is flattening your implants and holding them high on your chest.  Though they will not get bigger, the volume within the implant will redistribute towards the lower portion of your breast achieving a more natural appearance, rounding out and filling your bra cup more.   I know waiting is difficult, but judge your results at 4-6 months after surgery as most of your breast changes should have occurred by then. Hope this helps.

Dear Arol.   Thanks for submitting your pictures. You appear small in the front picture, but you have a lot of fullness in the upper poles. So, Do you implants displacement massage religiously (3 days after your surgery) ,in order to allow the implants to settle down and give you more projection.   You did not provide your pre operative chest circumference in inches, which is critical for correct implants size selection. Let's assume that you were 32 small A cup size before surgery. 450 cc implants will bring you, eventually , to 32 D + cup size. If you were 34 small A cup - 34 full C cup size (very nice size).   It takes 3-4 months for the implants to settle with massage, so despite you frustration, be patients and than reassess your situation.     The good news is that you can always go bigger later on...                  All the best,                                     Dr Widder

Thank you for the question and the picture.      You are just starting the healing process,   it takes 3-6 months for the implants to settle, all of the swelling to go down and for you to appreciate a final result.    You need to be patient and follow all of your post op instruction.   Everthing will look different in the weeks to come.   Best of luck
