I had a tummy tuck done but don’t like my belly button also I feel my belly should be flatter? (photo)

Thank you for your question.  Swelling after a tummy tuck can last 6-8 months.  The hardness your experiencing can be from swelling or scar tissue.  I typically recommend gentle massage in the area to increase the blood flow to the area and help break down the scar tissue. In regards to the belly button I agree with the the use of the marble and sometimes I'll even do a cortisone injection to the area to soften the scar tissue around it.  Best of luck to you.

Cannot tell completely from the photos regarding all your concerns.  Also before photos can also help in this process.  In the meantime, about 6 months out you should be reaching close to your final result imo.  This means that main thing that is left is for the scars to take their final appearance which can take up to a year.  Best bet is that have you surgeon take a look and discuss your concerns.  The flatness issue of the lower abdomen is a concern because it probably won't get much flatter going forward.  Again have your surgeon take a look to guide you. hope this helps. At six months post op the changes that will still occur will be minimal. You can consider having an umbilicoplasty to improve the appearance of your belly button. There is no obvious signs of concern from your photos but an in person evaluation is best to determine if you could expect improved results from further intervention.

It looks like your scars are still immature.  They should continue to improve with time.  This can take up to 2 years.  The flatness of your abdomen depends on how lax you were preoperatively as well as how much intraabdominal fat you had at the time of the operation.  Your preop pics would be necessary to comment on that. Express your concerns to your surgeon.

Following the recommendations of your surgeon is very important. The recovery takes around 4 to 6 weeks, the position to sleep on your back can be done after 2 weeks,  you must perform lymphatic drainage massages, for me more, and you can continue your normal activities, perform light exercises, then increase the routine without any problem.
The total recovery of the procedure takes from 6 months to a year, it is advisable to wait 6 months between each surgery, to avoid risks, your surgery is very recent, have a lot of patience.
