I had a septo-rhinoplasty in January 2022. The dr took some length off the tip and elevated the tip with a bit of cartilage to fix the droopy-ness. I had a bump which was also shaved down. The deviated septum was fixed and it happened to be right by my nostrils. Long story short, I feel that my , and my nostrils are more prominent. I'm wondering if putting filler in the tip could lengthen and fix the upturned look. Could the tip rotate down 1 cm with filler??
Answer: No you need a Revision Rhinoplasty (Nosejob) Surgery | Facial Plastic Surgery | Expert | Non-Surgical | Filler | Liquid Rhino Hello, and thank you for your question. You have a complex issue that requires expert-level correction. A foreshortened and over-rotated tip can only be properly addressed through a revision rhinoplasty—fillers simply don’t have the structural strength to achieve the necessary changes. Since you've already had a rhinoplasty, the issues you're describing are likely due to a combination of residual structural irregularities and scar tissue, which can be challenging to correct. That’s why choosing an expert in rhinoplasty—especially revision rhinoplasty—is critical. To correct this, your nose will need to be lengthened and rotated with extreme precision. This involves harvesting septal cartilage (or a specialized alternative) to create custom grafts that reinforce the nasal tip and columella, ensuring both stability and long-term support. Without these techniques, results may be unpredictable or short-lived. Since rhinoplasty is one of the most technically demanding surgeries in all of plastic surgery, you should ONLY trust an experienced rhinoplasty specialist. Many plastic surgeons perform rhinoplasty occasionally—but this is a surgery of millimeters, where small miscalculations can have significant consequences. A surgeon who performs only a handful of these a year simply won’t deliver the best possible result. I have extensive training in advanced rhinoplasty techniques, including complex primary and revision cases, under one of the world's top rhinoplasty surgeons (who performs 1,000+ nose jobs annually). If you're serious about achieving a refined, natural-looking outcome, I’d highly recommend scheduling a consultation with me (Virtual or In-Person). This will allow us to discuss your goals, conduct a detailed examination, and determine the ideal approach for your unique anatomy. Looking forward to helping you achieve the results you’re looking for! Dr. Donald Groves Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Permanent non-surgical nose job for nostril lowering... Silikon-1000 is not typically helpful for achieving a longer nasal appearance, but it may be helpful for lowering your nostrils on front view for symmetry, depending on your examination. Hope this helps you. Dr Joseph

Answer: Filler or revision rhinoplasty... It is not easy to derotate the tip after rhinoplasty. Some filler can be placed, but there is no way it could be rotated down 1 cm with filler. You would have to have surgery to make a more significant change. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.

Answer: Nose is short and upturned, Am I a candidate for a non-surgical nose job We do not recommend fillers placed in the nose for a variety of reasons, including skin necrosis. Much more information is needed, such as a full set of facial photographs from all angles, since the nose is a three-dimensional structure. Your second surgeon will probably also need a copy of the operative report as well. Revision rhinoplasty is more difficult than a primary rhinoplasty, so choose your surgeon wisely based on extensive experience
