I see posts online supporting that women that got botox shouldn't be too worried if they unknowingly got botox, but I see nothing on xeomin. I've actually seen things that say xeomin may spread since it lacks the protein of botox. This makes me so worried! Any info is appreciated...

Answer: I used Xeomin and found out I'm pregnant. Should I be worried? Congratulations on your pregnancy! Although the general recommendations for Xeomin, Botox and Dysport are to not treat pregnant women, there is no evidence that shows it is harmful to the baby. These contraindications are more related to the fact that there is also no evidence to show it is safe, but the only reason for this is that it would be unethical to perform a study like this on pregnant women. In general, there is no reason to think that these drugs would cause any harm to your baby as they are administered in relatively small doses and do not tend to travel from the area in which they are injected. Enjoy your pregnancy and do not worry, it is highly unlikely that there would be any effect on the child.

Answer: Xeomin and pregnancy I would not be worried. While it is impossible to perform studies on Xeomin or any other neurotoxin in pregnant patients, the dose used is tiny and I would not expect it to have any ill effects on your baby whatsoever. Congratulations!
