just had Xeomin (40 units) two weeks ago and just found out two days ago that I am pregnant. I am very worried about the risks I posed by getting this-I had no idea I was pregnant when I got it done! I have been worrying myself sick over it. I am going to see my OB next week and plan on bringing it up but in the meantime I am very worried.

I would not worry at all.  While these products are not recommended for use in pregnancy, that is due to the fact that it is impossible to perform a study testing the safety of these drugs in pregnancy.  Many patients have become pregnant after using neuromodulators and there have not been any reports of problems associated with this.I would recommend waiting until after you are done breast-feeding (should you choose to do that) before undergoing treatment with additional neuromodulator.

No studies have been performed on pregnant/ nursing women receiving Xeomin because the potential risks outweigh the benefits.  Many women, 
however, experience just what you are going through and their babies are
 healthy and fine.  I think we will find over time, with examples such as
 yours, that there isn't much to worry about with accidentally receiving Xeomin in the early stages of pregnancy.  You can start using Xeomin again when you are finished breast

Congratulations on the great news!  Although it is certainly recommended that you avoid all toxins and fillers while pregnant, it is important to remember that Xeomin/Dysport/Botox are all locally acting with negligible systemic diffusion.  Likewise, 40 units is a very small dose and highly unlikely to have any effects on your fetus. I typically ask all new and established toxin patients of child bearing age if there is any possibility of pregnancy prior to injection.

While it is not recommend for pregnant or nursing mothers to have Xeomin (or Botox and Dysport), there should be no harm to your baby from having the treatment a few weeks before finding out about your pregnancy.  The dose used is not enough to affect your fetus and it does not normally circulate throughout your body.
