Thanks for your question. You are a normal, good-looking guy, so the key to a successful rhinoplasty is ensuring it looks natural and not like an obvious change. African american rhinoplasty typically involves 4 different components. Some patients need them all, some only one or two. Here are the 4 components.
1. Improvement of the bridge height with an implant.
2. Narrowing of the wide upper nose (bony part) with osteotomies.
3. Narrowing of the tip (Tip-plasty)
4. Narrowing of the nostrils (Alarplasty)

You could try scheduling a few consultations with plastic surgeons in your area to explain the change(s) you want and to understand if rhinoplasty may be worthwhile for you now or in the future.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Cartilage grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. You may also benefit from an alar base reduction at the same time. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result.
