African American Revision Rhinoplasty help! Are my expectations realistic? (Photo)

I wanted a natural rhinoplasty to bring in my nose but I hate my results. In my opinion, the bridge starts too high and makes my nose look narrow / artificial. The tip extends too far and my nose looks larger from the side and pointy. I feel like I’m wearing a prosthetic. I’m scared I’m forever ruined. Maybe I’m dramatic but it keeps me up at night. Would a revision rhinoplasty be possible to reduce my bridge and make my tip more bulbous to achieve a natural result better suiting my anatomy?

It's possible to reduce the projection of your tip and lower the height of your bridge during a revision rhinoplasty in a way that can bring better balance to your face, and a more natural appearance to your nose. Knowledge of what was done during your rhinoplasty surgery will help your revision rhinoplasty surgeon give you a more accurate idea of what the surgical plan will be in terms of if additional graft material will be necessary to create a more natural appearance.

I see this issue quite often and the change in ethnic look can be troublesome. Your nose does not look bad. I want to reassure you that you look good. However, if personally you don't like that look then a revision can restore some of the ethnic look.

I approach the African Rhinoplasty the following segmental way;
African american rhinoplasty typically involves 4 different components. Some patients need them all, some only one or two. Here are the 4 components.
1.  Improvement of the bridge height with an implant.
2. Narrowing of the wide upper nose (bony part) with osteotomies.
3. Narrowing of the tip (Tip-plasty)
4. Narrowing of the nostrils (Alarplasty)

Personally, I think you have a nice result. You do not look botched. If you are less than one year after surgery, it may take time to get used to your new nasal appearance. If you would be content having a higher nasal bridge on profile without as much of a curve, depending on your examination, microdroplets Silikon 1000 injections may be considered for permanently raising your bridge for a straighter nasal bridge profile appearance. Yes, we should be able to achieve those goals.  It seems that the degree of change is excessive for you.  We can get a softer nose with fewer sharp edges by reducing the size of the cartilage (likely rib) that was used.
