The caveat is that although it seems like a minor change, which it is, the technical prowess needed to create this change surgically is not something possessed by all rhinoplasty surgeons. There are many different way to augment the radix, and some techniques are more effective than others at creating a smooth, uniform contour in a way that is natural and permanent.
