What happened to my perfect nose? What can I do about changes occurring 14 years after Rhinoplasty? (Photos)

I had my nose done in 2007. My nose was “perfect” from every angle until about two years ago. I am noticing changes but can’t put into words exactly what is different. What is happening and what can I do about it?

That is either scar tissue or extra cartilage. I would first try kenolog injections, and if that does not work, after one year after surgery, perform a revision rhinoplasty, to trim the right sided cartilage a little more.

Your nose and bridge may still be swollen based on your photos, and the bump on your right may improve. You appear to have excessive nostril show and retraction. Microdroplet Silikon-1000 may be considered for nostril lowering, depending on your examination. Hope this helps. Dr Joseph

Based on these photos you seem to be good candidate for septo-rhinoplasty. In experienced hands of a board certified plastic or ENT surgeon, with good reputation in rhinoplasty, you can expect significant improval both functionally and aesthetically. Good luck.

Hi, perhaps when the bones were adjusted, one bone was brought in more then the other. I would try to put a little filler on the side that is dented in. But if you like the results overall, I would not mess with it too much, because more surgery can make it worse.

Thank you for your question. Before surgery is considered, the first question to ask would be what caused the perforation? There are a variety of things that can lead to a septal perforation, some which would make surgery a bad idea, some not as much. Assuming there isn't a medical reason to...
