Can scar be shorten with revision and how low and it go? I know I'm only 3 weeks and I know that I have to wait a year. But can it be lowered? My PS said its my anatomy and he did cut it under my c section scar, but for some reason it came out pretty high. And is the revision recovery will be as bad as full tummy tuck, I'm 3 weeks out and still couldn't walk up straight. And revision has to be under general ?

Answer: Too High Abdominoplasty Scar Hello,Based on your photo, your scar will never be able to be lowered to any significant extent. The entire scar is far above the ideal placement, at the border between the abdomen and thigh laterally, and at the border between the abdomen and pubic triangle centrally. You appear to have very little laxity in your skin, and even after a year you'll likely not have much laxity, at least to the extent needed to move the scar downward. I'm really sorry.
