I have recently had an abdominoplasty 5 days ago with muscle repair. My tubes where full of dark red blood from the place of incision then ran yellow with red blood running through it. I have been experiencing a burning sensation in the last 24-48 hours before removal. The pain, while they were removed, was as if I had a laser been running from my hip down to place of incision. Is this burning sensation (before removal and during removal) normal as my Dr told me that this sensation is normal.

You are still very early in your recovery. Swelling is common and expected for several weeks yet. Continue to follow the advice of your surgeon and keep all post op appointments. You should see the swelling in all areas greatly improve by six to eight weeks post op.
