I am posting before picture from ten years ago and now. I have lost so much volume around mouth while smiling. and cheeks look saggy. don't want surgery/implants. what is most natural least complex way to fix this? I'm only in early 30s and I don't like smiling for pictures anymore. .. :(
Answer: Adding volume around lips and mouth The changes you describe are very common and seen as we age.As others have mentioned, fillers are an excellent option to address volume loss in this area. Not only are they effective, but they are also safe and modifiable if you are not satisfied with you results: ie, more can be added or they may be dissolved. It would be best to see an experienced injector for an in-person consultation to discuss your options.

Answer: Cheek implants versus fillers Injectable fillers are now done much more frequently than we do cheek implants. Cheek implants often do not look natural after many years because as the face changes, they may need to be removed or replaced. Therefore, many people get injectable fillers. Adding volume to the cheeks can be very aesthetically pleasing if done by an expert who also takes into account facial balance and your overall bone structure etc. I often prefer Sculptra and Radiesse but also think Voluma is an excellent product to shape and improve the cheek area. Sculptra can last several years but usually a yearly maintenance treatment is recommended to keep the results looking good as you continue to age. Voluma has been shown to last 2 years or longer but in my experience, again, maintaining the treatment yearly with a little product as needed works best and keeps you from losing the effect. Make sure to seek out an injection specialist with extensive experience with these products.I hope that helps.Best of luck!
