Dermal Fillers like Belotero, Restylane, or Restylane Silk are great options to help camouflage under eye darkness. These products help conceal shadows by filling the depth on the area concerned.  This will improve and make things look better by removing the shadowing effect. 

You can use fillers in this area but should go to someone with experience using cannulas.  It will improve the darkness, but not permanently as this is genetic.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Hi Jasmine, the issue of under eye darkening is very prevalent in your skin type.  Although difficult to treat in general, under eye injections with Restylane can help in many cases.  Restylane can change the contours of the skin in this area, minimizing the effect of shadows.  In addition, adding the filler can also help to camouflage the darkness by adding more depth to the tissue.  For an example of an Irvine, CA patient that had Restylane injections for dark circles, click on the before and after pictures link below.

Yes, filler injection should improve the dark circle appearance by filling the hollow area (dark circles). In fact, it is probably the only best treatment for it. See an oculoplastic specialist.

Thank you for your question.  Dark areas around the eyes can be secondary to shadows or pigment changes.  Fillers help reduce shadowing by filling areas of contour depressions.  Fillers will not change skin pigment changes.  I cannot tell from the photos (an in-person exam would be necessary) if the areas of your concern are due to shadowing or pigment.  See a facial specialist who can give you a detailed examination and make recommendations to correct either issue.

Fillers often improve darkness under the eye by reducing the shadows that depressions create. They will not effect the actual color of the skin. 

I think you will have some benefit from the filler to ease the transition of the hollow area. You also have some dark pigmentation which will not be addressed. In general it will 'appear' lighter without any added shadows of the tear trough hollow. I would recommend seeing someone in person to have a more in depth evaluation. Best of luck
