I think I have a low hyoid bone (sits below the bottom of the mandible/chin bone). I overlaid my cephalogram/X-ray on top of a real photo to see where it sits, and I marked it in white. When I pinch the area I also think I have a fair amount of fat sitting there as well. Could I get a decent result with liposuction alone?

Post liposuction swelling and fluid can last for months. there is no reason to get a CT scan and at this point you should be doing velashape/venus legacy RF treatments, lymphatic massage and hyperbaric oxygen with compression to help rid the swelling. Best, Dr. Emer.
I make a living doing surgery and counselling patients on plastic surgery concerns. Sometimes, however, the best thing I do for patients is tell them to do nothing. You don't get rich that way but at the end of the day I am a doctor first and foremost and always put my patients'...
Thank you for asking about your liposuction.I takes 6 weeks for liposuction swelling to significantly subside and 6-12 months to see your final result. The fullness is almost certainly swelling.
