When should I get microneedling and PRP if I am planning to get rhinoplasty? (photo)

This year I'm planning to get an open rhinoplasty/reshaping. I'd also like to get microneedling with PRP for wrinkles under my eyes and have been recommended 3 treatments 6 weeks apart then a final treatment 6 months later. When should I fit this in with my nose surgery? Should I start the needling before it, after? When do you think would be best for the results?

I would get the microneedling after. The microneedling is much more simple and has to be spread out over a couple months. Most people also get the best benefit from about 4 treatments, as you mentioned. Since the eyelids swell and bruise from rhinoplasty, I would wait until you recover from your rhinoplasty to start the treatment. That way this swelling doesn't effect your eyelid microneedling results. That being said, there is no study or evidence to suggest that it would effect it. Just a recommendation. You could get microneedling 3-4 weeks after the rhinoplasty.

Hi Sezzz,Generally, I would say that it should not make any difference in terms of result whether you do microneedling before or after Rhinoplasty.
