Rhinoplasty: true that cadaver cartilage eventually reabsorbs?

dear doctors is it true that cadaver rib cartilage placed on the nasal dorsum in rhinoplasty will eventually resorb because it has no living cells in it? how many years? also is the risk in a revision rhinoplasty less or higher?
