HEALING OF SENSORY NERVES: Tingling, burning or shooting pains, which will disappear
with time and should not alarm you, indicate regeneration of the sensory
nerves. If these sensations cause pain, repeated, local self-massage helps.

ASYMMETRY: The two breasts commonly heal quite differently. One
breast may swell more, feel more uncomfortable, or have a different initial
shape. After complete healing, they will be more similar and natural. You must
have patience, but if this causes concern, ask questions of the doctor or the
nursing staff.

SHAPE AND CONTOUR: The final shape of your breasts will start to look its
best approximately three (3) months after surgery. It takes time for the skin
and muscle to stretch and relax around the new implant. The breast will often
look higher, firmer, and “less natural” in the first three (3) months. It can
take up to a year to see your final result.

FOLLOW-UP EXAMS: These are generally done in 1 week, 2 to 3
weeks, 3 to 6 weeks, 3 months, 6 months to 1 year, and 1-2 year intervals. In
our office we include all of your follow up appointments in the initial
surgical fee.

The best thing to do is to maintain the schedule of follow-up appointments with your surgeon and make sure that the healing and settling process of your implants follows along properly.

From the photos the nipple appears to be at the point of maximum projection and well centered over the implant.  That is ideal positioning.  However, this is only the best advice given based on viewing your photos online.  An in-person exam would be required for the best recommendation.  

You're asking a great question.  The implants you have appear to be well positioned.  However, you are right to be concerned about the positioning and its something to closely observe as time goes on following any fold lowering surgery.  I would suggest that you don't feel perky enough because your implants may be too small for your frame.  A larger implant would fill out the upper pole more and provide a bit more width making you look fuller and rounder.  However, that would require that you accept a larger cup size.  Be sure to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.  Best wishes!!!

Based on your photo your implant position looks excellent.  However a measurement of 11 cm may be cause for concern.  Please see your surgeon for an examination.  It is possible that the use of an underwire bra for a period of time may prevent the implants from dropping further.
