I had Xeomin 6 months ago. Why do I still have terrible migraines, heavy pressure behind eyes, and tightness in my forehead?

In most cases, headaches after neurotoxin injections resolve within a few days. Some patients may experience having headaches that last longer, however, there is not enough evidence or studies that suggest that this is due to neurotoxin injections. Therefore, it's possible to minimize the discomfort from your migraine headaches with the following: taking over the counter pain medications like Tylenol or Advil; staying hydrated daily; use a cold compress to the forehead; or increase physical activity. Additionally, I recommend to try switching neurotoxins and trying a different brand such as Botox or Dysport. I hope this helps!

Such symptoms in the first days after treatment may reasonably be attributed to the neurotoxin (Xeomin in this case); however, extremely unlikely at six months. It may be an idea to see a general physician/ family practitioner to have a check-up, including reviewing your blood pressure, and do also consider seeing an optometrist (in case your symptoms are related to you needing to wear spectacles/ having a change of visual prescription).
