I am filled with regret and frustration with myself. I got stuck in the hot Arizona sun for about 10 minutes, 2 days after microneedling. Have I harmed my skin? So sad.

Hyperpigmentation can occur when freshly injured skin is exposed to the sun without adequate protection. Most likely, you have not harmed your skin; in the event, however, that you have inadvertently created hyperpigmentation, it can be lightened with various procedures and topical skin care products.

Do not use exfoliating medications, chemicals, or products on the treated areas for at least 1 week. - Is recommended after micro-needling and avoiding sun-exposure for at least 2-3 weeks.
