Since the body has been through 2 surgeries, it may take longer. Soft tissue can also be swollen from the disruption of lymphatic channels. Firm massage 3 times a day for a few months can help this resolve. Remember to use lotion or Vitamin E oil when massaging so that the fingers are slippery and do not tug on the skin. If the jawline contour is not satisfactory after this, then it is reasonable to use a filler like Restylane Lyft or Juvéderm Volux to fine tune the contour.
