The equivalent would be about the same sizes because they were not too overfilled, especially when using a highly cohesive gel implant.
Converting implant specifications is a complex process that involves various factors, including size, profile, and fill volume. It’s best to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can assess your specific situation and recommend suitable options based on your desired outcome and body proportions. They can provide accurate and safe recommendations tailored to your individual needs.Best of luck !
The volume will be the same if gel or saline or 200 cc's. With Mentor products, you can have 225 cc for the gel implant. The bag is also the same, but the fill is different.
I suggest you discuss implant exchange with your plastic surgeon. He or she is the best able to convey what you might expect and help you with the decision making. If you currently have 220 mL of volume and are happy with that size, then you should probably choose an implant that has the equivalent size. Overfilling saline implants will create slight increase in profile.Implant choice should take many variables in the consideration, and each plastic surgeon will have their own way of doing this. Without having access to more information, there isn’t a whole lot else to say about it.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD

Implants may look equally good when placed either above or below the muscle, but typically they do look different. If you will be putting one implant above the muscle, you will likely have better symmetry by putting the other above as well.
Well, I can tell you one thing: you did not have to have two surgeries and be unhappy, with the prospect of third looming. Surgeons who use sizing systems (I like low tech: in office sizers with patient looking at herself in the mirror with her shirt on) don't expose their patients too wrong...
You need to wait 6 months from the surgery date before doing any revision. At that time, you can consider a circumareola approach to move the nipple-areola complex up and inward and it's also possible to reposition the implants more medially since your breasts are widely separated. Best...
Thank you for your question. A large portion of my practice is dedicated to breast surgery and revision breast surgery. I have been in practice for over 28 years. In your case, I would perform an internal bra procedure - capsulorrhaphy as well as revision of your mastopexy. I wrote the very...
That's correct. Everything I said is based on well-conducted studies, very much unlike the Netherland's study, which included patients with very old, low cohesive implants from decades earlier. One recent study looking to elucidate systemic symptoms from breast implants found no silicone in any...
