Possible to fix saddle bags with fat transfer? (Photos)

Question

Hello all, so my question is if getting a BBL and having fat transfer to the hips and buttocks would it be possible to fill in these awkward horrible lumps bumps and indents that I have in the saddlebag area? I have had them for years after giving birth to my children and I have had lipo treatments twice as well as cellulaze to the area to try to fix it but nothing has helped, thoughts? It’s like cellulite but worse..Thank you in advance

Great question!  It is hard to see what issues you are having with these photos.  However, generally, the saddle bags are shrunken down using liposuction and not really injected to increase more volume.  It does seem like there is some irregularity in the area which could be cellulite and if so, wouldn't be treated with any type of liposuction or fat transfer.  It is best to have a physical examination with a plastic surgeon to get a good look at your issues so that it can be addressed appropriately.Best of luck and hope this information helps!

Based on your photos, you are a good candidate for liposuction and fat transfer, to even and improve your buttocks, and I think you'll get very good results.
l recommend you to make an in-person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for a proper answer and to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.

Thanks for your question and photos. As the smoothing effect of fat grafting may not work as well in areas of cellulite it is first necessary to release the fibrous bands. The VASER technology can achieve this. The use of ultrasonic probes can do the job safely allowing fat to be injected beneath and create a smooth result. Find a plastic surgeon who is certified to do this and arrange for a personal consultation. Hope this helps.

You are an excellent candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). Skin irregularities are not treated with liposuction. If anything liposuction can make it worse. My best guess is that this unevenness in your skin is going to be difficult to correct. Fed to transfer May help to some degree but should only be done if you want that area to be larger.  Most likely this is a form of cellulite which is caused from connective tissue anchoring your skin to the underlying muscle layers. These bands of connective tissue called septa constrict the distance between your skin and your muscle layer. This can sometimes cause skin irregularities especially visible if someone gains weight.  There are a few treatments available such as Celfina though I am not a particular big fan. This treatment cuts the septum releasing the tension allowing the skin to bulge out without indentations. Best, Mats Hagstrom M.D.
