Hi! I'm 22F and had a face fat transfer about 6 months ago. I was told 80% of the fat would not survive and it's 6 months after and I have about 70% of the fat still on my face. I didn't really need it in the first place, It was recommended to me by the surgeon for my acne scars (which didn't really help). I just want to look like my old self again :( I've looked at many forums, and haven't found an answer to this!! Pls help- I look like a moon in pictures

Over-grafted facial fat grafting is a difficult problem to treat, but there are some options depending on where exactly the excess fat is and how much there is.  Generally, radiofrequency microneedling with a device like Morpheus8 (on the correct settings) can help break down the fat and tighten the area, but it typically requires a few treatments to really see an effect.

Unfortunately doing liposuction in the face without simultaneously lifting the skin and suoerficial muscle layer gives a high chance of irregularities. I have had success with a midface lift through a short scar hidden facelift incision combined with direct fat removal and liposuction. There are no easy solutions.
