Sorry to hear that you are suffering the side effects of facial fat transfer. Not only does transferred fat sometimes swell after salty food, but should you gain excessive weight it may also swell. Other than avoiding salty and spicey foods there is not much that can be done to prevent swelling. this is unlikely due to your fat transfer or the donor site. you retain water and salt restriction is your best bet. malar bags are well known to be worse after salty meals and this may be what you mean?

Physiologically water will follow salt in the body. Some people may be more prone to soft induced Adema, and this can change with age. Facial aesthetics will also change significantly year by year.
I don’t think your previous fat transfer has changed your salt intolerance. If salty foods give you undesirable side effects then I suggest avoiding eating salty food.
Maintaining a low sodium diet is very difficult as you prepare of foods yourself.
