Worsened lip incompetency after chin augmentation, how soon can I remove/replace it?

I got a silicone chin implant (6mm) three weeks ago intrabucal via, prior to that I already had some lip incompetancy, I had to manually close my lips but I had no problem doing so, after placing the implant I have a really hard time closing my lips (my lower lip is lower than it was) so I want to remove the implant or replace it for a smaller one. How soon can I do that? I dont want to wait six months because I cant even chew with my mouth closed.

Thank you for your pictures. In my opinion, this is a tough issue.  It may be best to soften this deep fold over time with fat grafting.  This will not eliminate the fold but reduce the depth of the fold. Best wishes.

Thank you for your pictures.  In my opinion, a sliding genioplasty to correct your chin asymmetry would be reasonable.  You need to make sure that your jaw does not have this same asymmetry.  I would visit with a board certified oral surgeon or board certified plastic surgeon....

Thank you for your pictures.  Yes, the projection and width can be changed with a sliding genioplasty.  This is slightly challenging.  I agree with Dr. Jamali that I do not believe that your chin needs to be widened.
