How many weeks after lip injections is the filler (Restalyne) still malleable or moveable? The injector told me to massage my lips but it’s two weeks after the injections and I was wondering if the filler can still be moved? Thanks.
Answer: Post Restylane Thank you for your question. The final result of filler takes two weeks to show after all of the swelling has gone down and at that point the filler is no longer moveable. I hope this information helps. I have also attached a link and video with more information on fillers.

The filler is not likely to be moved or changed by gentle massage after this time. I encourage you to visit with your injector if you still have concerns.

Answer: Restylane Filler migration is possible but not highly likely assuming proper injection. It also occurs within the first few days if it does occur so it's easy to detect. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.
